Ova and Parasite Screen no longer performed as of 4/14/2025. Please order the Gastrointestinal (GI) Panel to screen for Giardia, Cryptosporidium, Entamoeba histolytica, and Cyclospora. 

NOTE: If parasites other than those listed above are requested, the specimen must be sent to Mayo for a Full Ova and Parasite examination. Patient MUST either have a travel history to areas where parasites are endemic, or be immuocompromised. Mayo Code = OPE.
