Preferred Container/Tube Type: Green Top (Lithium Heparin) Tube
Alternate Serum Separator Tube (SST)
Transport refrigerated.
Collection Instructions: Patients who undergo chronic therapy should be drawn at least 3 hours after oral dose. Specimens from patients undergoing acute therapy should be drawn 6 hours after ingestion.
Note: Time of patient’s last dose is required.
