Mycoplasma - Genital Source: If you get a request for Mycoplasma on genitourinary/ reproductive specimens, order  Mycoplasma hominis , PCR (MHRP) as well as Mycoplasma genitalium (AMGEN).

If MD has specified one or the other only do the test requested. We only do both when the MD has not specified one or the other.
