 THIS TEST MUST BE PERFORMED AT THE HOSPITAL MAIN CAMPUS ONLY

1. Draw Fasting baseline Glucose and serum Growth Hormone(HGH).

2. Drink 75 grams of glucose.

3. Draw Growth Hormone and Glucose every 30 minutes until 120 minutes post glucose drink.

1. Order the following tests in DOE (cannot be ordered in ROE):

Baseline: Routine:  Fasting Glucose

                Routine:  Growth Hormone

 30 min:   Timed Glucose and Growth Hormone

 60 min:   Timed Glucose and Growth Hormone

 90 min:   Timed Glucose and Growth Hormone

120 min:  Timed Glucose and Growth Hormone

2. Draw the Routine Fasting Glucose and Growth Hormone

3. Have the patient drink the  75 grams of glucose

4. Draw the patient every 30 minutes after drinking the glucose for both the glucose and the Growth Hormone until completed after 2 hours.
