Important Note

• This is a kit that the patient will present to a draw site.
• If patient does not have a kit, most sites have extra kits.
• If the site does not have a kit, call around to different sites to find a site to send the patient.
• Last resort is to send patient to the hospital OPL prior to 2:30pm and specimen processing can send a kit upstairs.

• There are 3 different kits provided by Natera: Panorama, Horizon or a Combo kit which includes both Horizon and Panorama in a single kit.
• The Panorama kit requires collection of (2) Streck tubes (these are not spun).
• If using a butterfly for collection, there MUST be a waste tube used first  (this will ensure full fills on the tubes which must be filled completely.)
• There is also a optional cheek swab for the father (we usually don't need to collect these)
• The Horizon Kit also has the 2 Streck tubes. In addition there are 2  large Lavendar tubes.

• Send kit to Specimen Processing to mail out.
• Order test .Miscellaneous Kit
  • Use the order entry code RF Ref to enter the required information
    • Reference Lab: Natera
    • Source: Blood
    • Test Name: Panorama (or Horizon or Combo)
    • Test Code: N/A

• Beebe can send kit out if all prelabeled/prepaid packaging is included in the kit. 
• Patient can also send kit if they choose.
